I'm not sure the specs on some of these people's machines, but TweetDeck doesn't slow my machine down at all. My processor is 2GHz and I only have 3GB of ram.. my computer still runs flawlessly. However, the app itself is a little laggy, but this isn't even v1. It's v0.30 something or other. And it does pretty much everything for Twitter and Facebook, which I love because although I just started Twitter, I use fb extensively. TweetDeck just brings it all home.
I have full-blown Windows tweetdeck for personal use while I have this browser-based version for professional stuff.
ChromeDeck is a little frustrating at times, the interface is compressed and retweets/mentions aren't integrated as seamlessly. I'd still HIGHLY recommend it
...more to people who'd like to run their own personal account and business accounts simultaneously but separately.
